" Very nice hotel in a perfect location! The rooms are clean and big and the staff are very nice.It is a 5-10 minute walk to the main street Princess Street.Would definitly stay there again! "
" We arrived to this hotel after a short walk from train station to be greeted by a very friendly host where nothing was to much trouble for her.She asked if it was our first time to the city and we said yes so she suggested the best places to visit and the best places to eat and have a drink and also provided us with a detailed map.Would recommend taking the bus tours and visitng the Royal Brittania and of course the castle.Room was very comfortable and very clean.Circus casino is a short walk away and the food was excellent value for money and a good night was had.Breakfast was good and again nothing was too much trouble for staff and the scottish breakfast was lovely. On departure are train wasnt till early evening so our cases and personal belongings were looked after in a locked secure room behind reception when we collected them they even booked our taxi to station.A pleasure to stay there well done. " Nice hotel just off the hustle bustle of Edinburgh’s main streets but well within walking distance of all of the great things to see and do.

" Hotel is very well kept with restaurant and bar available. The staff were extremely helpful during our stay, from booking us taxis, to advising on places to park depending on your length of stay. On the subject of parking, please note the hotel does not have parking on location, but has a discounted rate with a near by public car park (Riego St) less then 5min walk away. On street parking is available just outside the hotel entrance but spaces are a rarity.
Room was spacious and had all the usual amenities you would expect from a hotel in this price range. Free Wi-Fi is a bonus as most UK hotels charge for this. Room service is 24hrs that also can come in handy. If you’re a light sleeper then a room away from Lauriston Place is recommended as it’s a main route for people after a good night out on the way to taxis and bus stops.
Location is handy as everything is within walking distance whether you head down Lothian Road towards Princess Street where shops, pubs, and restaurants can be found around the area. Or head the other direction towards the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle that is a popular tourist area to explore.
Overall a handy hotel in a fairly central location that isn’t too expensive. "
