Lake District Review
The lake district is known not just for its beautiful scenery and long landscapes but also the connection with Beatrix Potter who wrote the Tales of Peter Rabbit while she holidayed and stayed there until she passed away in 1943. The lake district truely is place for you if you love the great outdoors and feel adventerous. Try canoeing, walking, cycling and more but as many have said there are loads of sheep everywhere you go and which do not move out of your way.
There are lots of old villages and towns with some of the friendlies people around you wont get bored easily. The only downfalls we see about holidaying in the lake district is that it can be expensive so if your going with a lot of family or friends you may need ot save, plus it is very easy to get lost and with not being able to depend on the weather you dont want to be 5 hours away from a dry spot! Hiring one of the lake district cabins are the ideal way to spend your holiday. All in all the Lake district is gorgeous, a great place to escape from busy life, action packed if you want it to be and relaxing.
